Inter-County 4-H Dairy Cattle Judging Competition
This judging competition, held yearly, was designed in 1989 to train 4-H’ers in the correct conformation of dairy animals, help in their decision making process and develop confidence while defending their decisions. From this competition, four people are selected to represent Ontario at the National 4-H Dairy Judging Competition in Madison, Wisconsin, during the World Dairy Expo. This trip is all-expenses paid!
The top overall individual also has an opportunity to apply for one of two positions representing Team Canada at the European Young Breeders School. This event takes place in Belgium the first week of September each year.
Novice Division: ages 9 to 11, as at January 1st
Junior Division: ages 12 to 15, as at January 1st
Senior Division: ages 16 to 21, as at January 1st
